The Griff and Coton Golf Society 24hr Million Yard Challenge

A Nuneaton golf society is taking on a 24-hour challenge to drive a combined one million yards and raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Members of the Griff & Coton Golf Society will take part in the endurance event at Griff & Coton Sports Club from Friday 18th September.

The challenge will see participants continuously drive golf balls for 24 hours, aiming to reach a combined distance of one million yards.

That's roughly the equivalent of travelling from Land's End to John O'Groats.

The event is being held to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK, with the society encouraging people to support the challenge at DJS Golf in Hinckley.

The 24-hour event gets underway on Friday 18 September.from 6am for 24 hrs
