What is a Floating Market?
Think of a traditional farmers' market or craft fair, but entirely on the water. Our members live and work on their narrowboats, transforming them into floating boutiques, bakeries, and workshops. From handmade crafts and artisan food to unique hardware and gifts, it’s a community event unlike anything else.
It’s Free: A great, family-friendly day out by the towpath.
Local Impact: We bring footfall to the local area and celebrate the heritage of our canals.
The "Visuals": It’s a photographer’s dream and a great talking point for morning or afternoon shows.

Where: Trent & Mersey Canal, Shobnall Fields, Burton on Trent DE14 2JR
When: Sat 2nd, Sun 3rd & Mon 4th May 2026. 10am to 5 pm each day.
Admission: Free to the public
