The road was closed from 5:30am this morning.
The A5 in Hinckley has reopened after a lorry hit a railway bridge in the early hours of this morning (13th Mar).
Police were called at around 5:30am to reports of an incident. They closed the road from the Hammonds Roundabout to Dodwells Island but this was later extended to the Lime Kilns pub.
The road reopened after rush hour at 9:40am causing delays for hundreds of drivers.
