Local charity Falcon Support Services has reached its target to stay open for the next 12 months.

They offer services to those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or those in need across Leicestershire and Rutland.

Falcon Support Services, said: "We’d like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and dedication in saving our essential services.

"Thanks to a combination of individual donations, business support, grants and the redistribution of already existing funds we have secured the Falcon Centre for the next 12 months.

"Although services will operate differently, we have, because of your support, managed to secure 99 out of 100 of our bed spaces for those experiencing homelessness."

Over the weekend, the Fundraising and Communications Manager, Lee, along with a team,  took part in a High Altitude Ascent of Mt Olympus to raise funds for the charity.
