Traffic caught within the closure on the north is being released. 

The southbound carriageway is now OPEN.

POLICE UPDATE 0731

Due to an incident, there is a road closure in place of the M69 from J21 of the M1 to junction 2 of the M69. The whole of junction 2 is closed. There is also a road closure on the B4669 between Hinckley and Sapcote. Please find alternate routes and updates will follow.
