The PureGym in the Ropewalk Shopping Centre is currently hosting a vaccination centre for Crest Pharmacy.
The site opened on March 8th and had vaccinated over 2000 patients in just under two weeks.
While it is being used for the vaccine roll-out, the gym will remain closed.
It is expected to be shut until 13th June at the earliest.
PureGym told Fosse107 that members of the gym in Nuneaton are welcome at any other Puregym branch for free.
The nearest one to Nuneaton that will reopen on Monday 12th April is in Bishop Street in Coventry.
A spokesperson for Puregym said,
"We are committed to playing our part in helping to rebuild the nation's health and supporting the local community in the essential rollout of the vaccine. We keep working with Crest Pharmacy who manage and administer the vaccinations, and are still donating PureGym Nuneaton as a Vaccination Centre.
“This does mean that we will not be able to reopen our Nuneaton gym until June, however, as other gyms across England are opening on 12th April, we are welcoming members of our Nuneaton gym to any other PureGym for the time being, completely free. That means they won’t a pay a penny until PureGym Nuneaton reopens as a gym.”
