"At the moment we are not in discussions with any developers."
A garden centre near Hinckley has been awarded planning permission to be turned into a housing estate.
Outline plans have been approved for Greenacres in Stapleton to become 12 houses.
The garden centre says no detailed plans have been put forward and no developer is involved so they will be open for the foreseeable future.
A spokesperson for Greenacres said: "We have only achieved outline planning which lasts for 5 years. In that period you obtain detailed planning permission which lasts for a further 3 years. At the moment we are not in discussions with any developers. So there is no imminent plan of closure. So for the foreseeable future will be remaining open and trading as normal. "
