Two women in their 20s were hit with glass bottles in Hinckley town centre on Saturday 27th May.
Police say, after initial enquries, two women were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress. They have both since been released on bail.
PC Mollie Dabell, the investigating officer, said: “While two people have been arrested in connection with this incident, I’m still keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened and might be able to help.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone with mobile phone or dashcam footage.
“Anything you’re able to provide, no matter how insignificant you think it is, could assist us.”
