It follows theft of a purse from a woman in Hinckley and they are appealing for two people who were in the area at the time to get in touch.
The incident took place on Friday (26 April) around 9.30pm when a 68-year-old woman was walking along Hollycroft with her husband, someone snatched her handbag and ran off towards Factory Road.
Shortly afterwards a man on a bike approached the victim and returned the handbag, however a purse containing cash, vouchers and loyalty cards was stolen from the bag.
We would like to speak to the cyclist and a woman who was walking along Factory Road at the time of the robbery, they may be able to provide vital information which could help move the investigation on.
