There will be pumpkin bowling and a themed stilt walker.
Ghosts, ghouls, witches and wizards will be in Hinckley this October.
Hinckley’s popular Spooktacular Saturday event will be back in the town centre on Saturday 26 October, from 10.00 am – 3.00 pm.
It will take place in Hinckley’s haunted Britannia Shopping Centre.
There will be pumpkin bowling and a themed stilt walker. Little ones can also take part in creepy crafts and spooky stone painting, before having freaky face paint stenciled onto ghostly faces.
Anyone attending is encouraged to come in their best Halloween fancy dress, with prizes for the creepiest costume handed out on the day. All children who wear fancy dress will receive a Halloween medal (subject to availability) and the best-dressed competition with trophies to be won will be judged at 12pm by Mayor of Hinckley and Bosworth, Councillor Robin Webber-Jones.
Fosse 107 will also be there providing a spooky soundtrack to the day.
Borough Council Deputy Leader Cllr Mark Bools said: “With Halloween becoming very much part of the autumn calendar this family-friendly event always proves to be a hit with families and little ones. From pumpkin bowling to face painting, there is something for everyone, the costume competition is always a big hit, and it is always fun to see the Britannia Centre filled with so many creepy costumes and spooky faces. Come along and bring your family – if you dare!”
