Police say a 33 year old man was arrested in Spencer Street.
Spencer Street in Hinckley was cordoned off this morning after armed police were sent to respond to a domestic incident.
Police were called to report of an incident at 2:15am (Tue 15 Jan). Police said as a result of information received in the call, armed officers were sent as well as a trained negotiator.
A woman who was not injured left the property. A 33-year old man, who refused to leave the property, has since been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
Police say the incident, which also closed Alma Road, has now ended.
