Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a betting shop in Loughborough have released footage of the incident taking place.
A man armed with a gun entered Ladbrokes in Cattle Market, where he threatened an employee before leaving the premises with stolen cash.
The member of staff was not injured during the incident but was left understandably shaken and upset by their ordeal.
Detective Constable Chris Fox from the force’s Complex Investigation department, is releasing footage of the incident and asking for the public’s help to identify who was responsible, he said: “Since this robbery took place at just after 9pm on Friday 14 July, we have been carrying out extensive enquiries to find the person involved.
