A 22–year-old man will appear in court charged with the murder of a woman in Burbage.
Gregor Bauld, 22, of The Coppice, Burbage, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.
He is due to appear before Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 5th March.
Emergency services were called to The Coppice on Sunday 3rd March after an incident which resulted in the death of a woman in her 50s.
Police say the woman has yet to be formally identified.
