Two men have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a woman from Nuneaton.

Katie Love was reported missing to police on Monday 23rd February and they say they are increasingly concerned she may have come to harm.

After sharing an appeal asking for information about a silver Peugeot 206 last weekend, police were able to locate the car.

Sadly, 48-year-old Katie remains missing.

On Monday 2nd March, a 48-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been released on bail.

A 49-year-old man from Nuneaton arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday 26th February has been released under investigation while investigations continue.

She has connections to Skegness, but she’s known across Nuneaton, Hartshill and Kingsbury too.

Detective Inspector Gareth Unett, who is leading the investigation into Katie’s disappearance, said: “First of all, we want to reassure the community we’re doing everything we can to try and find Katie safe and well.

“Sadly, given the length of time that has passed, we’re also considering the possibility she may have come to harm.

“We’d like to thank everyone who shared our appeal at the weekend and helped us locate the car.

“Understandably, Katie’s family really want to find her, and we’re keeping them updated as the investigation progresses, so please keep sharing our appeals and if you know anything, contact us as soon as possible."
