Dr Luke Evans has thanked Leicestershire Police for their support.
Dr Luke Evans, the MP for Bosworth, has released a video stating that he 'was a victim of cyber flashing and malicious communications.'
He said: "You may have seen the news this week… unfortunately last month I was a victim of cyber flashing and malicious communications.
"I was approached by two different numbers on WhatsApp who purported to know me.
"The first messages came through when I was with my wife, the second came through 10 days later when I was in the office with my team.
"After I tried to verify who was messaging me, I was sent sexually explicit images.
"I immediately blocked the numbers and reported them to the police and Parliamentary security.
"I’d like to thank Leicestershire Police for supporting me through this as the police investigation continues."
