It happened shortly after 5pm on Wednesday 28th November.
Two men parked a motorbike outside the post office in Leicester Road before going into the post office and threatening two members of staff with what was believed to be a knife and a spanner.
The men got behind the counter and knocked a woman to the floor while demanding money from the safe.
Minutes later they left with a quantity of cash heading in the direction of Aston Lane. The motorbike was found abandoned in Aston Lane later that evening.
Despite being pushed over, the woman was not injured but both victims were left visibly distressed by their ordeal.
The suspects are described as both being around 6ft tall, slim build, wearing dark clothing and facial coverings.
