1190 homes in LE11 were without power on Thursday.
Some energy customers in Loughborough were without electricity on Thursday afternoon after a fault reported by Western Power Distribution. The company said power was off from around 4:30pm and would be restored by 6pm.
Western Power Distribution said “A fault on a high-voltage underground cable caused power cut at 4.33pm yesterday, which affected 1,190 customers in the town centre, Limehurst and Forest Road areas. Everyone had their supplies restored by 5.17pm. We apologise for the inconvenience.
"We are extremely concerned to hear that some customers are reporting that they are still off supply. First of all we would ask them to please check their trip switches. If that doesn’t resolve the issue then please call Western Power Distribution on 105.”
We are sorry about the #powercut in #Loughborough #LE11 & surrounding areas. Engineers are working to have all properties back on by 18:00. Steve
