Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said that they were called to a single storey building where lithium batteries had been left on charge.
It was believed the batteries had caught fire.
It comes after more than 30 firefighters were called to the site when a blaze destroyed a number of vehicles being stored in a similar building.
Both Leicestershire and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the site just before 2pm on Sunday 24th May.
Fifteen cars and two test calibration sleds were involved after a fire started in a single storey temporary building measuring 15m x 35m on the Mira estate.
The statement from HORIBA MIRA said: "The fire which broke out at MIRA Technology Park just before 2pm on Sunday 24th May, took place in a temporary structure used to store and prepare vehicles in the vicinity of HORIBA MIRA’s Safety Development facilities.
The emergency services were called at 1.55pm and the fire was extinguished by 4pm. Ten fire engines and four special appliances were deployed.
There were no casualties.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are on-going, but there are no suspicious circumstances. Fire investigations will conclude on 26th May 2020 while insurance inspectors expect to need several weeks to conclude their investigations."
